Welcome to the home of The Learning Centre School
At The Learning Centre School we promote both academic excellence and excellence of character in the context of a Christian worldview. While students receive a strong educational foundation on which to build their lives, they are also challenged to reach their highest spiritual potential by learning Biblical truth and Christian values. These values are the heart of our philosophy and curriculum at TLCS. Working as a team with our students parents, we endeavor to equip our students to become the leaders of their generation and a strong influence in our world.
The goal of The Learning Centre School (TLCS) is to develop students with strong character as well as academic excellence, in a positive and distinctly Christian environment. TLCS offers a Christian based curriculum that fully aligns with the Botswana Government syllabus for primary and secondary schools. We offer both traditional IGCSE syllabus and a second, internationally recognized, computer-assisted curriculum for secondary students.
At TLCS our student to teacher ratio is designed to ensure every student receives the utmost in individualized attention. TLCS will give your student the tool for a successful future.
In our Preschool/Reception students gain a firm foundation for their primary education in an environment of creativity, fun and love.
TLCS offers a special needs program for remedial students. This program is designed to help students with mild disabilities to enter mainstream classes or educate them according to individual needs and abilities. Please contact our registrar for more details on this special program and how we can help your student.
TLCS offers a variety of extra-curricular activities. We offer intramural and interscholastic teams in football, cricket, netball, basketball and athletics. We also offer classes in French, Art, Music, Drama and Culinary Arts.
The Learning Centre School is accredited by the Botswana government and affiliated with several private school associations including the Association of Christian Schools International and the Association of International Schools in Africa.
